Título: Modelagem e simulação de um núcleo motoneuronal da medula espinhal

Resumo: The objective of this work is the modeling and the simulation of the motoneuronal pool and associated neurons of the gastrocnemius muscle of the cat. The motoneuron model that we propose is a mixture of a simple threshold crossing model with that including synaptic and potassium channel conductances. The behavior of the resulting model was compared with data obtained from the literature regarding the AHP (afterhyperpolarization), f x I curve, frequency response, among other tests. The model showed a good fit to biological data and at the same time was simple enough to be employed in a motoneuronal network simulator. The structure of the neuronal network to be simulated is presented briefly in this paper.
