Título: Arquiteturas Construtivas Autoassociativas para a Verificação Automática de Assinaturas

Resumo: In this paper, four autoassociator-based neural networks are investigated on an automatic signature verification task. The first is a neural network based on the traditional Multilayer-Perceptron (MLP) architecture, and the other architectures are the constructive structures based on the Cascade-Correlation, Tower and Pyramid networks. Extensive comparative results are carried out in a real off-line signature verification problem, indicating that all the constructive networks investigated can be efficiently applied in difficult real world pattern verification problems.
